TC Electronic was able to recreate this classic analog sound with their digital Viscous Vibe to give you Pink Floyd and Hendrix-like tones that you can dial in using the Intensity, Volume, and Speed. and off I am into exploring the beast's FXs. Designed to simulate the iconic Shin-Ei Uni-Vibe, the TC Electronic Viscous Vibe gives you a vibrato powerhouse in one tiny enclosure. As far as I have explored, I miss the possibility of changing parameters only in a specified range of the path of the MIDI expression pedal, something I have available on my old trusty Roland GP-100. Suggestions on how to explore this thing are welcome. Does anyone know if it is possible to do the update via MIDI, like I think it is with the G-Major?Īlso, is there a PC editor, even if not by TC? I've been reading some things in forums about its firmware update and it seems that I have to order a PCMCIA card from TC Electronic with the latest firmware 2.04. Sound quality through the digital I/O (SPDIFs) is killer, so so far so good, the repair shouldn't be much I hope. SPDIFs are working fine and all the software seams to be OK, but it is version 1.05 which is pretty basic for what I am expecting it to do. It needs repair since its left analogue output is dead. So, I got a used G-Force for cheap, like 100. ![]()
